During the pre-hire program, recruits will begin their orientation to the police department. They will receive information about recruit conduct and expectations, physical conditioning, mental preparedness and attitude, nutritional recommendations, police ethics, pre-academy overview, basic training preparation, uniform preparation and other subjects to prepare the recruits for entrance into the police academy.
