While working as a reserve police officer, every encounter or radio call presents a new challenge and experience. You will have the training and resouces to aid people in their times of greatest need. You will have a great sense of pride as you volunteer your time serving the citizens of Phoenix and working alongside career police officers.
Reserve police officers wear the same uniform, answer the same calls for service and encounter the same risks as full-time career police officers. However, reserve police officers choose to do the job without being compensated for the time that they serve.
