Periodically, the Phoenix Police Reserve Foundation hosts "A Day at the Police Academy" for invited guests who want to support the Foundation and learn more about the work performed by reserve police officers. Invitees participate in actual police-related training activities including firearms, computerized shooting scenarios and the use of Tasers. Attendees also participate in tactical training scenarios, with police officers serving as "actors" during live action training scenarios.
In addition, the Phoenix Police Reserve Foundation also hosts "A Day at the Police Driving Track", where invitees particpate in tactical police and pursuit driving excercises, under the supervison of police driving instructors.
